Schnibble - Bibelot

This is my March Schnibble, Bibelot.  I wasn't overly crazy about the pattern, so I decided to make it out of Halloween fabrics.  I think it turned out pretty cute.  The picture could be better, but you get a pretty good idea!

  1. Great Job! I am not wild about that pattern either, but I needed to make a baby quilt. I just hope I get it finished today.

  2. I really like this version - particularly the way you used a black background around the green T blocks. That's a great idea that I need to file away. Wonderful quilt!

  4. But your Trick or Treat version of Bibelot is fabulous! How can you not love this pattern? :)

If it makes you feel better, you're not alone, this was not a "love at first sight" for a lot of people. I don't know if it is the "really random" or the one-directional block, but as much as I liked this quilt, that's how much other people didn't. But it's okay, and I promise, you aren't hurting my feelings in any way.

That said, I really do love what you did with this. The black background mixed in for the green Ts is brilliant. And inspired. And very, very creative. Good job!

  5. I love Halloween fabric, so this quilt is one of my favorites in the parade! Great idea to put in some black backgrounds! I love it!! So creative. I wish I would have done that on mine :-) It is so fun to see how different quilters put the same pattern together.
